Alleged San Mateo bank robber nabbed at medical center

An alleged serial bank robber was nabbed in San Mateo after informing a teller that he wasn’t armed, then telling her where he planned to go after the heist, according to prosecutors.Prosecutors said 41-year-old Paul David Stoliker is under investigation for numerous Peninsula bank robberies. He was arrested Dec. 14, only hours after allegedly robbing a U.S. Bank in San Mateo. On Friday, Stoliker pleaded not guilty to robbery and burglary charges in connection to that heist. Read More

Hillsdale High School bomber trial has mistrial in sanity phase

A mistrial was declared Friday afternoon in Redwood City in the sanity trial Alexander Youshock, who was found guilty last week of attempted murder of his former Hillsdale High school chemistry teacher.
