On a clear and sunny Saturday, a careful crook walked into a bank in North Beach toting an open umbrella and walked out with handfuls of cash, police said.

The grey weather is apparently making some people grumpy.
On Tuesday afternoon, police say a man was walking down Market Street between Ellis and Powell streets swinging his umbrella. Another man told him to stop swinging his umbrella because he was going to hit someone with it.
In response, the umbrella-carrying man took a swing at the victim, according to San Francisco Police Lt. Lynn Tomioka.
