A man who was stabbed in the stomach in the Mission district Sunday refused to talk to cops about his attacker. Police say the 57-year-old victim is expected to survive the knifing, which occurred at 24th and Osage streets around 3:50 p.m., police said. A San Francisco man was arrested in San Leandro on Friday after allegedly stabbing another man in a restaurant after arguing with the victim over a vacant table.Police arrested Nicholas Cordero, 24, shortly after the incident as he was leaving the restaurant. The 36-year-old victim was walking near the intersection of 7th and Stevenson streets around 11:15 p.m. when he got into an argument with the woman, police said. The woman pulled out a small knife and stabbed the victim once in the back, cops said. The victim was treated at the hospital for his injuries, which were not life threatening, police said.

A woman was savagely stabbed nine times in the legs during a party brawl in Dolores Park on Saturday night, police said. The victim, 20, and her four attackers — described by police as 16-year-old girls — were attending the party in the park around 10:30 p.m. Along with nine stab wounds to the legs, the victim brutally beaten, left with a bloody nose and bruised face, police said. A bar fight degenerated into a scissors stabbing in the Richmond district Friday, police said. A 28-year-old thug entered a bar in the 400 block of Clement Street and started a fight with a 31-year-old man around 9 p.m., police said. A 30-year-old male friend of the victim jumped in to help. During the scuffle, the thug produced a pair of scissors and cut the first victim on the elbow and then stabbed the second victim in the back, police said.

A man beat and threatened a woman with a handgun before cutting her hands and face in the Laurel Heights area Thursday, cops said. The 46-year-old man and 23-year-old woman were apparently using drugs together in 2500 block of Sutter Street around 4 a.m., police said. A 43-year-old man who had been facing retrial in the stabbing last year of his roommate instead pleaded guilty Monday to misdemeanor assault, his attorney said.
Octavio Meza had been charged with attempted murder for the Oct. 9 stabbing of Jayson Lindsey, who had been staying at Meza’s Mission district apartment.
