Woman tries to steal San Francisco postal worker’s mail

Neither rain, nor sleet nor thugs. A postal worker was almost robbed of her mail near Hallidie Plaza on Friday, police said. The 49-year-old female civil servant’s letters were snatched out of her hand at Eddy and Mason streets about 12:20 p.m., police said. Man shot parking his car in San Francisco’s Bayview neighborhood

A man was shot after parking his car in the Bayview on Sunday, police said.The 42-year-old victim parked his car in the 100 block of Middle Point Road about 6:30 a.m. when multiple shots were fired, police said.A family member heard the shots and found the victim lying on the ground. Group detained after allegedly shooting at cops

One person was arrested and seven others detained after shots were fired at an unmarked police car near India Basin early Tuesday morning, Officer Albie Esparza said. Leafaitulagi Ioani, 18, of San Francisco was arrested on suspicion of driving without a license and evading police after she and two other drivers sped off after the shooting, Esparza said.
