A 3.6-magnitude earthquake centered in Berkeley shook the Bay Area this morning, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.The quake was recorded at 5:36 a.m. 2 miles east of Berkeley with a depth of about 6 miles, according to the USGS.The temblor was felt in Berkeley, Alameda and throughout San Francisco.“It was kind of a strong jolt,” an employee at Au Coquelet Cafe Restaurant in downtown Berkeley said minutes after the quake. A 3.5 magnitude quake centered 3 miles north-northeast of San Leandro occurred around 8:08 p.m., according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
