A 44-year-old man is dead after being stabbed while at a homeless shelter in The City’s South of Market neighborhood, police said late Monday. It was the fourth homicide reported in San Francisco this year.The stabbing occurred about 7:10 p.m. Monday at 525 Fifth St., police reported.
