A man beat and threatened a woman with a handgun before cutting her hands and face in the Laurel Heights area Thursday, cops said. The 46-year-old man and 23-year-old woman were apparently using drugs together in 2500 block of Sutter Street around 4 a.m., police said. The man struck the woman with the butt of a handgun, placed the gun in her mouth, and then cut the woman in her face and hands with a knife, cops said.

Two thugs threw powder in a man’s face and robbed him at gunpoint in the Mission on Wednesday, cops said. The 38-year-old victim was walking in the 400 block of Capp Street around 11 p.m. when he was approached by the thugs, one of which drew a black handgun. The other thug threw an unknown powder into the victim’s eyes and knocked him to the ground.

A cab driver was robbed at knifepoint in the Western Addition on Thursday, police said. The 70-year-old cabbie picked up the thief, described as a man in his 50s, and drove him to the intersection of Sutter and Baker streets around 1:50 a.m., police said.
