A South of Market resident was startled awake by an intruder who was standing at the foot of his bed early Tuesday, police said.The terrifying discovery was reported to cops around 3 a.m. in the unit block of Fourth Street. The suspect, a 56-year-old woman, was arrested soon after the break-in, police said. The victims included a 65-year-old man and 46-year-old woman. The man chased the suspect out of the room, cops said.

The first heist occurred at Caselli Avenue and Douglas Street around 1:40 a.m. A 43-year-old man was held up at gunpoint by a man in his 20s, police said. A bar fight degenerated into a scissors stabbing in the Richmond district Friday, police said. A 28-year-old thug entered a bar in the 400 block of Clement Street and started a fight with a 31-year-old man around 9 p.m., police said. A 30-year-old male friend of the victim jumped in to help. During the scuffle, the thug produced a pair of scissors and cut the first victim on the elbow and then stabbed the second victim in the back, police said.

Two men in their 20s leaving a nightclub in the Union Square area were jumped by four thugs Friday, cops said. The victims were punched and knocked on the ground at Campton Place and Stockton Street around 2:20 a.m., police said. An accused pyro with an apparent ax to grind against city garbage cans was busted by cops Thursday morning, police said. A cop said he saw the 18-year-old man standing next to a city garbage can that had been set ablaze in the 1200 block of Mission Street around 4 a.m. When the suspect saw the officer, he tried to make a run for it but was captured and arrested, police said. The San Francisco Fire Department responded to the scene and extinguished the fire, police said.
