Cops thwarted a robbery in South of Market on Sunday night and shot at the alleged thief after he drew a gun, police Sgt. Michael Andraychak said. Six teens were robbed in the Oceanview area Saturday morning by a gun-toting goon who first asked if they were selling weed, police said. Hotel manager charged with DVD bag snag

Sometimes, locking your door isn’t enough. A tenant of a mid-Market Street residential hotel was reportedly robbed of a duffle bag of DVDs by the building manager Tuesday, police Officer Gordon Shyy said. The 22-year-old resident was in his locked room in the area of Sixth and Market streets about 6:35 p.m. when the manager, identified as 38-year-old Alejandro Diaz of San Francisco, used his set of master keys to open the door, Shyy said. A man was assaulted with a bottle outside a Mission district nightclub early Thursday morning, police said. The 27-year-old was first approached by the two male suspects inside the nightclub in the 3000 block of Mission Street, police Officer Gordon Shyy said. Bayview flasher just ‘can’t help it’

He just couldn’t help it. Bayview police are investigating the case of a flasher who on Tuesday exposed himself to a woman. The 38-year-old victim was walking in the 2000 block of Jerrold Street when the creep walked across the street toward her, police said. As he approached, he dropped his drawers and exposed himself.
