A 25-year-old woman was robbed by knifepoint in the Tenderloin on Tuesday evening by a man who threatened to stab her.
The young woman was walking on Turk Street between Leavenworth and Hyde streets at 5:30 p.m. when she was approached from behind, according to the San Francisco Police Department.
The man, who is described as a black man between 35 and 45 years old, placed a knife to the woman’s throat and grabbed her wallet from her purse, police said.

Two people were stabbed during a street brawl near the Tenderloin Tuesday, police said.
The injured, a 25-year-old man and 21-year-old woman, were each stabbed multiple times in the lower and upper back at Larkin and Olive streets around 3:30 a.m., police spokesman Officer Albie Esparza said.
They were transported to the hospital. Their injuries were not life threatening, Esparza said.

The victim called police after the assault at Larkin and Turk streets around 4:10 p.m. Tuesday.
Police found the victim with a deep cut to his nose, which was later deemed to be broken at the hospital.
