Man found with fatal stab wounds near India Basin

A 20-year-old man was found with fatal stab wounds early Wednesday near India Basin Shoreline Park , police said. Neighbors called 911 after hearing the screaming man near Innes Avenue and Arelious Walker about 1:45 a.m. The victim, who has not yet been identified, was transported to San Francisco General Hospital, where he died, Shyy said. Man shot in the face in the Mission

A man miraculously survived a shooting in the Mission district on Friday after the bullet grazed his cheek, police Officer Gordon Shyy said.The 27-year-old victim was walking in the area of 22nd and Bartlet streets at about 6:18 p.m. when he encountered an acquaintance, Shyy said.
