A man was shot in the arm on Sixth Street early this morning, police said.
The 56-year-old told police he was sitting in front of a hotel in the 100 block of Sixth Street at about 2 a.m. when he heard a gunshot and felt the sting from the bullet.
He was transported to San Francisco General Hospital and is expected to survive, police said. No arrest has been reported. The victim said he didn’t know the shooter. A suspect description was not immediately available.
