Kevin Giltner scored 23 points and three teammates also scored in double figures as Wofford raced to a 20-point halftime lead and trounced Georgia Southern 88-63 Saturday night in a Southern Conference game.
Giltner got good support from forward Drew Crowell with 18 points, while guards Brad Loesing and Karl Cochran scored 16 and 10 points respectively. The Terriers (10-8, 3-3) quickly took a 12-2 lead, increased it to as much as 20 and led 43-23 at halftime.

Andre Jones hit two free throws with 3 seconds remaining in overtime to help Winthrop defeat Liberty 64-61on Saturday night.
Jones, who scored 14 points, also hit a layup with 5 seconds remaining in regulation to tie the score 54-54 and send it into overtime.
Reggie Middleton scored 16 points, while James Bourne and George Valentine each added 10 for the Eagles (6-11, 3-3 Big South Conference). Valentine also had 10 rebounds.

Torrey Craig scored 17 points and grabbed 12 rebounds and South Carolina-Upstate defeated North Florida 69-62 on Saturday night.
The Spartans (10-8, 4-2 Atlantic Sun Conference) scored 21 points off 19 rebounds, negating a strong shooting night by the Ospreys.
North Florida shot 56.8 percent from the field (21 of 37) and brought it within two, 64-62, on Jimmy Williams' layup with 1:24 remaining but wasn't able to get any closer.

Rosen scored eight points and Bernardini six on a pair of 3-pointers during a 15-6 first-half run by the Quakers (9-9, 2-0) that gave them a 21-11 lead with 8:25 remaining in the first half.
Penn led 36-25 at the half and by as many as 16 points, 58-42, after a jumper by Rosen with 5:50 to play.
