A man riding a child’s bicycle at 3 a.m. Wednesday no doubt caught the attention of San Francisco cops.The brazen parolee allegedly swiped the small bike from a garage in Laguna Honda that morning. He was three blocks from the scene of the crime when cops arrested him.A couple at the home identified the bicycle, then learned the crook had burglarized their car as well. He was found in possession of items from their car, police said.He was booked into county jail.

A 38-year-old man is fighting for his life after a bicycle accident in the Laguna Honda neighborhood after midnight Monday, police said.

Rebuilding a morgue at Laguna Honda Hospital has administrators searching for answers about what to do with bodies so families aren’t burdened by having to travel to the East Bay.The hospital’s decades-old morgue is being demolished next year because the building it’s located in is seismically unsafe. A new morgue will be built as part of the next phase of the hospital’s redesign, but that will likely take about two years.
