SFPD carrying Special Olympics torch through streets today

San Francisco police Chief Greg Suhr and other members of the department are carrying the “Flame of Hope” torch around The City today in advance of the Special Olympics Northern California Summer Games being held later this week.Law enforcement officers from around Northern California have been running the torch through their cities in the days leading up to the games, which will happen this Friday through Sunday at UC Davis.
