The Oklahoma State University women's basketball coach and his assistant were killed when the single-engine plane transporting them on a recruiting trip crashed in steep terrain in Arkansas, the university said Friday. In its latest move to cut costs, UC Berkeley will eliminate five of its intercollegiate sports programs, including its championship men’s rugby team.
