Info Wanted: Jewelry Store Robberies

The FBI is offering up to $10,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of someone who violently robbed jewelry stores in three states and might live or have connections in San Francisco. The robber has stolen more than $150,000 worth of jewelry from stores in Oregon, California and Nevada between June and October 2007, according to the FBI. Read More

Sukhpal Singh was killed Aug. 4, 2002, at 3:52 a.m. He was working as a United Cab driver, near the intersection of Folsom Street and 24th Street, when he was killed. The Mayor’s Office has authorized a $100,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person(s) responsible for his death. Former CFO appears in court

The former chief financial officer of a San Francisco nonprofit was in court Thursday related to charges that he embezzled nearly $4 million from the organization. City prosecutors allege that Greg Colley, 48, of Sausalito, took $3.9 million from the Music Concourse Community Partnership, a local group that is in charge of operations at a parking garage near the de Young Museum in Golden Gate Park. Suspects sought in gun death

Police are searching for a number of suspects involved in the shooting death of a Hispanic man Monday night on McAllister Street. Woman shot by police arrested, faces charges

A 56-year-old mental-health patient shot by police last week survived the incident, but has been arrested on charges of assault with a deadly weapon. Teresa Sheehan is being detained at San Francisco General Hospital while she recovers. San Francisco Police Department Sgt. Arrests made in fatal stabbing near graveyard

Two teens are in custody after a 23-year-old man was stabbed to death next to a cemetery in Redwood City over the weekend, authorities said. Redwood City police found the victim, a resident of unincorporated Redwood City, suffering from stab wounds on the 500 block of Geneva Avenue next to Union Cemetery at 3:47 a.m. on Saturday, authorities said.
