A man was arrested for using a baseball bat to threaten a parking control officer that put a parking boot on his car in San Francisco's Inner Parkside neighborhood on Wednesday, police said. The female parking control officer called for assistance at about 12:20 p.m. Wednesday in the 2100 block of 15th Avenue, where she had been placing a boot on a car wheel when the owner approached and threatened her with a baseball bat, according to police. Man stabbed during dispute over price of crack in SF's Tenderloin

A man was stabbed during an argument over the price of crack cocaine in San Francisco's Tenderloin neighborhood on Friday night, police said Tuesday. The stabbing was reported at 10:59 p.m. in the 600 block of Polk Street. A 30-year-old man apparently tried to buy three crack rocks for $20, but got into an argument over the price with the drug dealer, who then stabbed the man with a knife in the right palm, according to police. Bernal Heights man charged with murdering wife

Ying Hua Wu, 74, of Bernal Heights was charged in court Thursday with murdering his wife Dec. 9. Wu also faces charges of assaulting three Fire Department medics with a knife when they were called to the couple’s home in the 200 block of Justin Drive. A Walnut Creek school custodian who was arrested last week on suspicion of molesting a child has been charged with 10 felony sex crime counts for allegedly sexually assaulting two children, police said Wednesday. John Astor, 44, was arrested Thursday at his Walnut Creek home on suspicion of lewd acts against a child under 14. Jail guard charged with accepting iPad bribe

A Seal Beach city jail guard has pleaded not guilty to accepting an iPad and other items from inmates in exchange for favors. Orange County prosecutors say 32-year-old Jose Alday entered not guilty pleas Tuesday to felony charges of receiving bribes and possession for sale of a controlled substance. Man accused in liposuction case pleads not guilty

Carlos Guzmangarza, 49, the San Francisco man accused of posing as a doctor and performing a cheap liposuction, pleaded not guilty Tuesday to felony charges of practicing medicine without a license, assault, false impersonation, and identity and grand theft.
