A gun-toting goon stole a man’s TV set from his home among other crimes this weekend. 100 block of Jerrold Avenue4 p.m. MondayA gun-toting goon stole a 42-inch flatscreen TV from a 76-year-old man’s house, cops said. The victim — who suffers from dementia — inadvertently left his front door open. He heard a noise and when he went to investigate he saw a man holding his TV. Oakland police are urging Craigslist users trying to buy or sell merchandise to use caution after a string of armed robberies originating on the popular website. Police said that robbers would either create a Craigslist posting advertising the sale of merchandise or respond to users selling merchandise and rob the victim when they arrived to complete the transaction. San Francisco 49ers fans wounded in Georgia shooting after game vs. Saints

One San Francisco 49ers fans was critically injured and another wounded Saturday outside a Georgia restaurant by a New Orleans Saints fan who was angered by their cheering for the team, a TV station reported. Niners fan Corey Adams told WSB-TV that he and friend Chris Middleton were approached in the parking lot of an Applebee’s restaurant by a Saints fan who had departed angrily after arguing with them during Saturday’s game. Mission district sex-assault suspect revealed
Police identified the man arrested Friday in relation to three Mission district sexual assaults as Frederick A. Dosier of San Francisco. The 32-year-old faces charges of attempted murder, assault with a deadly weapon, false imprisonment, robbery, battery, kidnapping, rape and other charges. Police arrested Dosier on Friday after an anonymous tip helped investigators link him to physical crime scene evidence. The assaults occured June 17, Nov. 18 and Dec. 8. Read More
