The U.S. Department of Agriculture says a Louisiana-based meat packing company has expanded a recall of meat products because of possible bacterial contamination. No illnesses have been reported
The Manda Packing Company recall announced this past week now includes 468,000 pounds of roast beef, ham, turkey breast, tasso pork, ham shanks, hog headcheese, corned beef, and pastrami.

Angry customers and gangs of scalpers threw eggs at Apple Inc.'s Beijing store Friday after the iPhone 4S launch there was canceled due to concerns over the crowd's size.
Apple reacted to the outburst by postponing iPhone 4S sales in its mainland China stores to protect customers and employees. The phone still will be sold online and through its local carrier.

Jake Bequette forced a fumble and Zach Hocker kicked a 26-yard field goal to give No. 7 Arkansas a 3-0 lead over No. 11 Kansas State after one quarter in a Cotton Bowl with a BCS-worthy matchup Friday night.
Hocker's field goal came four plays after Bequette hit Kansas State quarterback Collin Klein and knocked the ball loose. Tenarius Wright, the Razorbacks' other defensive end, jumped over a pile to recover the loose ball at the Kansas State 13.
