A sex-crazed slasher is being sought in connection with a late-night attack Monday on a woman who was simply walking home in the Tenderloin.
The woman, 33, was sliced across the cheek and stabbed in the arm after refusing the deranged stranger’s request for oral sex, police said. The victim reportedly did not know the suspect. The attack happened in the 400 block of Ellis Street, police spokesman Officer Albie Esparza said.

A San Francisco jury acquitted a Potrero Terrace woman of murder charges in the stabbing death of another woman last year, the Public Defender’s Office announced Tuesday.
After a nine-day trial, Maria Elena Burgos, 49, was found to have acted in self-defense when she stabbed Ernestine “Buttercup” Herron, 26, in the neck during a confrontation on a street in the housing projects where both women lived, according to the defense.
