A 27-year-old man was robbed by three hooligans in the Mission district Wednesday, police said. The thugs came up behind the man and threatened him with an unknown weapon at around 12:45 a.m. at 16th Street and South Van Ness Avenue, police said. One of the brutes grabbed him from behind and pressed an unknown object into his back and demanded the victim’s property, police said. The victim gave up his iPod and cash, and the suspects fled.

A 19-year-old woman was rudely ripped from her listening pleasure Monday after a 20-year-old brute yanked the iPod from her hands, police said.
The woman was sitting on a Muni bus at Geneva and San Jose avenues when the hoodlum snatched the popular device, cops said.
