San Francisco trying to fund Fire, Police department hires

Hayes-White names new deputy fire chief

Fire Chief Joanne Hayes-White has promoted Battalion Chief Monica Fields as the next Deputy Chief of Administration starting Thursday. Fields is replacing retiring Deputy Chief of Administration Gary Massetani. Fields received her bachelor’s degree from San Francisco State University and prior to serving with SFFD, she worked with the San Francisco Police Department where she was awarded the Bronze Medal of Valor.
