SAN JOSE, Calif. — A bicyclist suffered major injuries after colliding with a car in San Jose this afternoon, according to the California Highway Patrol.The cyclist was struck in the 4100 block of Sierra Road at about 4:10 p.m., CHP Sgt. John Carman said.Carman said the cyclist was struck during the Tour of California, a race which began Monday in Nevada City, stretches more than 800 miles through California, and finishes May 22 in Thousand Oaks.
