If you cannot get enough of the San Francisco Giants pitcher Brian Wilson, there is a new way to keep up with him: Twitter.

Wilson opened an official Twitter account Tuesday.

Before his account was activated, there was a picture of the bearded Giants reliever at the Twitter headquarters in San Francisco.

Wilson has been known for his off-field antics, including his appearance on the “Lopez Tonight” show.

Within 11 minutes of the star taking to Twitter, more than 2,000 people were following him, probably to see what he (or The Machine) will say.
