After an action-packed high school basketball season highlighted by a run to the state championship game by the Sacred Heart Cathedral boys’ team, The City’s finest outgoing seniors will have one last chance to showcase their skills in the SanFranPreps.com fifth annual Michael Gragnani Memorial City All-Star Game on Monday.

The festivities will feature a 3-point contest, slam dunk contest, girls’ All-Star Game and boys’ All-Star game. St. Ignatius will host the event.

University’s Jason Montana will coach Team City and St. Ignatius’ Michael Mulkerrins will coach Team SF in the girls’ game, scheduled for 5 p.m.

Heading up the boys’ teams will be Marshall’s Dezebee Miles for Team SF and Lincoln’s Matt Jackson for Team City. The boys’ game is slated to tipoff at 7 p.m.

The 3-point and dunk contests will be held in between the girls and boys’ All-Star games. Players scheduled to compete in the slam dunk contest include Lincoln’s Ares Brown, Mission’s Shaquille Fischer, Sacred Heart Cathedral’s Taylor Johns and Stuart Hall’s Laboyd Ricard.

Admission to the event is $5.
