Niners QB Alex Smith is reportedly meeting with the Miami Dolphins today.

While the San Francisco 49ers court Peyton Manning, free-agent quarterback Alex Smith is also considering his options.

Smith, the man who helped bring the 49ers within a game of the Super Bowl, will visit the Miami Dolphins Sunday, according to an ESPN report.

Though the team would like to keep Smith, who thrived in 2011 under first-year coach and former NFL QB Jim Harbaugh — and recently made him a three-year offer — the Niners worked out Manning and gave him a physical exam last week.

Manning and Smith have the same agent, Tom Condon, though is Smith may change agents because of the possible conflict of interest, according to a San Francisco Chronicle report.

Should Smith land in Miami, he would reunite with former high-school teammate Reggie Bush. The two went to Helix Charter High School in La Mesa, Calif.

Miami, already out of the Manning sweepstakes, also met with Green Bay Packers backup quarterback Matt Flynn.
