While the Warriors already knew they’d open their season Christmas night, they learned Tuesday they’ll be spending a whole lot of time at home during the opening months of the season.

Golden State will play its first four games and 17 of its first 26 games in the friendly confines of Oracle Arena.

The NBA unveiled its condensed 66-game schedule Tuesday after the lockout wiped out a large chunk of games. As a result, teams will be playing games on consecutive nights more frequently. The Warriors are slated for 17 back-to-back games and one back-to-back-to-back stretch.

The Dec. 25 season opener will be a 7:30 p.m. tipoff against the Los Angeles Clippers and will be the nightcap to the league’s five-game kickoff bonanza.

The Warriors will play 10 nationally televised games, marking the most for the franchise since the 2007-08 season.

Highlights of the schedule include home games against the defending NBA champion Dallas Mavericks on March 10 and April 12, a visit by the Miami Heat on Jan. 10, a clash with the Boston Celtics on March 14 and appearances by the Los Angeles Lakers on March 27 and April 18.

Single-game tickets go on sale Thursday at 10 a.m. Fans can purchase tickets before the general public as part of a presale event today by subscribing to “Warriors Insider” on www.warriors.com or by “liking” the Warriors on Facebook. Tickets for this season will be based on dynamic pricing.

Training camps are expected to open around the league Friday and the Warriors have exhibition games against the Sacramento Kings scheduled for Dec. 17 and Dec. 20.
