STANFORD — Chiney Ogwumike scored 27 points, grabbed a school record 24 rebounds and set a Stanford career mark with her 52nd double-double Sunday, leading No. 4 Stanford to a 74-50 victory over Oregon.

Ogwumike, a junior, broke the career double-double record she had briefly shared with her older sister, Nnemkadi Ogwumike. Chiney, the Pac-12s leading scorer and rebounder, broke her sister’s single-game rebounding record of 23, set last season against Oregon. The younger Ogwumike’s previous career high for rebounds was 19, set at Tennessee on Dec. 12, 2012.

Ogwumike had a double-double in the first half with 14 rebounds and 11 points as the Cardinal built a commanding 40-22 lead. She made double-double history with 1:55 left in the half, taking a pass on the low block and scoring. That gave her 11 points to go with 11 rebounds.

The Cardinal (26-2, 15-1 Pac-12) won their 12th straight game since suffering a 67-55 loss to Cal on Jan. 13 and remained tied atop the conference standings with the Bears. Stanford beat Oregon (4-24, 2-14) for the 17th consecutive time.
