First baseman Danny Marzo hit a walk-off home run to right field in the bottom of the eighth inning to keep the Petaluma National Little League team alive at the Little League World Series with a 5-4 victory against Parsippany-Troy, N.J. on Monday. Marzo went 2-for-4 and scored two runs for the winners in the extra-inning affair, representing the West Region. Teammates Bradley Smith and Hance Smith also had two hits apiece. Logan Douglas pitched the final 2¹⁄³ innings and got the win. He struck out four, walked one and gave up no runs on two hits. Petaluma will meet xxx at 5 p.m. today.
