Half Moon Bay at Aragon, 2:45 p.m.

The PAL Ocean Division will be on the line when these two square off. Half Moon Bay has turned it around after a slow nonleague slate and can clinch the title outright with a win. An Aragon win forces a shared title.

Carlmont vs. El Camino at South City, 7 p.m.

After an 0-4 start in nonleague play, Carlmont looks to complete an unlikely run to the PAL Lake title. Led by tight end-defensive end E.J. Jimenez, El Camino can earn a share of the Lake title with a victory.

Saturday

Burton at Balboa, 2 p.m.

After a slow start to the AAA season, the Bucs (3-5, 2-3) are surging, riding consecutive wins over Lowell and Galileo to put them in the thick of the playoff race. Burton (1-5, 1-4) got its first win of the season last week over Marshall.

Mission at Lincoln, 2 p.m.

The Bears (5-3, 4-1) will look to bounce back from a loss to first-place Washington last week, but a Lincoln win would put the Mustangs (3-5, 3-2) into a second-place tie with Mission, with a leg up in a potential
tie-breaker.

Sacred Heart Cathedral at Serra, 2 p.m.

The Irish (5-3, 2-3) are reeling after a blowout loss on the road against Valley Christian, but won’t get a reprieve against Serra’s standout running game, although the Padres (6-2, 3-2) are coming off a loss to first-place Bellarmine last week.

Lowell vs. Marshall at SOTA, 2 p.m.

The Cardinals (4-3, 3-2) control their own destiny and would need to win out to ensure a playoff berth, but will have to stop a Marshall (2-6, 1-4) offense that broke out for 46 points in a loss to Burton last week, behind 301 yards passing from Joey Sagiao.
