A suspect fired into traffic in San Francisco’s Portola district Tuesday afternoon, shattering a vehicle’s windshield, police said.

One suspect fired a handgun into traffic in the 2000 block of San Bruno Avenue around 2:38 p.m., according to police. The shots damaged a vehicle belonging to a 37-year-old man, hitting its windshield.

The suspect was with one other man, and the pair fled after the shooting. There was no report of injury, police said.
