A victim with a gunshot wound drove himself to Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital’s front door Friday afternoon shortly after shots were reported on the 2600 block of San Jose Avenue.

The victim arrived at the hospital at 2:47 p.m., according to hospital spokesperson Brent Andrew.

“The individual drove himself to the hospital,” he said.

Just twenty minutes earlier, at 2:27 p.m., SFPD responded to shots fired, said police spokesperson Officer Joseph Tomlinson.
