Shooting injures man in the Bayview Monday night

A 34-year-old man was shot in the Bayview District on Monday night, police said.

At 10:30 p.m. police responded to a reported shooting near intersection of Mendell Street and Inness Avenue.

At the scene police found the victim, who had been shot. He was transported to the hospital for treatment.

No arrests have been made in the case.
