SFPD: Two wounded in separate shootings

Two men were injured in separate shootings Thursday night and early Friday morning, according to San Francisco police.

The first shooting involved three people who were all firing guns at one another at around 8 p.m. in Visitacion Valley.

The shootout unfolded when two 25-year-old men got into an “altercation” with a 46-year-old man, which led to gunfire near the intersection of Hahn Street and Sunnydale Avenue.

The 46-year-old was shot in the knee and taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.

No arrests have been made.

The second shooting happened in the Mission District at 12:30 a.m. Friday and left a 20-year-old man with a gunshot wound.

Police have released few details in the shooting other than the victim was shot in the leg near the intersection of Hampshire and 21st streets.
