The San Francisco State women’s cross country team placed 10th at the CCAA Championships last week in Ontario.
Adriana Calva finished 10th as an individual. It was her first race of the season and the first time she’s earned All-CCAA honors.
She ran the race in 22:03.7, shattering her previous personal-best in the 6K event.
The Gators return to action Nov. 5 for the NCAA Division II West Region Championships in Billings, Mont.
The men’s runners finished fourth at the CCAA Championships.
Drew Feldman finished fifth to earn All-CCAA honors. He ran a personal best 24:48.0 in the 8K race. The redshirt junior has been on the all conference team three times.
The SFSU women’s soccer team is still in the hunt for the final spot in the six-team CCAA Soccer Championships.
The Gators are currently in that spot as they approach the final week of the regular season at 8-5-3 and 4-4-2 in conference.
Sierra Sagasta has five goals to pace the team and Autumn Fox has logged six assists.
If the men’s team can win out, it’ll mark its third-straight year with a winning record, which would be a first in the last 35 years.
The Gators are 7-6-2 (3-5-2 in CCAA) as Richard Leon leads the way with seven goals.
Both men’s and women’s teams will conclude their seasons at home against Cal State East Bay and Stanislaus State today and Saturday.
