A large group of San Franciscans gathered near the corner of Geary Boulevard and Masonic Avenue Friday, July 28, 2017 to rally and raise awareness for pedestrian safety in one of the most dangerous intersections in the city. Organized by the group Senior & Disability Action, demonstrators took to the crosswalks with signs to highlight the short crossing times and high volume of cars within the intersection that make it unsafe for pedestrians making their way across the street.
