SF pays tribute to Mayor Ed Lee at City Hall

Hundreds moved through San Francisco’s City Hall Friday, December 15 to honor and visit Mayor Ed Lee, whose body lays in state inside the buildings rotunda. Members of Lee’s staff lined the steps of City Hall as his body was carried inside in a casket draped with an American flag. Members of the public lined up outside to pay their respects to the late mayor, who died unexpectedly early Tuesday morning. His body will be on public display from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Photos by Jessica Christian/S.F. Examiner.
