Scoop: To avoid J.Lo, Jennifer ditches ‘Dallas’ role

The battle of Ben Affleck’s two Jennifers has been avoided.

Bummer, huh?

Apparently, Affleck’s wife, Jennifer Garner, was offered the role of Pamela Ewing in the upcoming big-screen remake of “Dallas.” But the “Alias” star turned the part down when she learned that Affleck’s former fiancée, Jennifer Lopez, would be her co-star. J.Lo is playing Sue Ellen to John Travolta’s J.R. Ewing.

“Jennifer Garner was really keen to be in ‘Dallas,’ but I think she felt there would be a bit of a strain between them on the set and that could have led to awkward situations,” an insider told The Daily Mail. “Both are totally professional, but there might have been a certain ‘atmosphere,’ and Jennifer Garner didn’t need to go there.”

Keanu gets personal

Hey, ladies! Are you looking for an emotionally unavailable, but good-looking guy? Then look no further than Keanu Reeves.

The oh-so dreamy actor says he is ready to settle down, but he needs to stop being such a loner first.

“I’m trying not to be alone so much,” the 41-year-old star told Parade magazine. “And man, it’s a struggle. I want to get married. I want to have kids.”

Reeves, who reunites with his “Speed” co-star Sandra Bullock in the upcoming romance, “The Lake House,” says it’s his parents’ influence that has kept him from typing the knot and starting a

family. Reeves’ father abandoned him and his mother when Reeves was young. Reeves’ mother, who had a string of bad marriages, moved the family around a lot.

“I’ve had a vagabond life,” Reeves said. “There is a bit of the gypsy in me, and living that way seemed to make sense. I couldn’t settle down. … Then I turned 40. That birthday is hard, perhaps because you know you’re grown-up. So now it’s a makeover for me. I have bought my first house. I wanted a home.”

Vince & Jen visit the fishes

Vaughiston finally made a public appearance together … at an aquarium.

Vince Vaughn and Jennifer Aniston are in Australia promoting their anti-romantic comedy “The Break-Up.” But before heading to the big premiere, the couple and some friends paid a visit to the Sydney Aquarium.

“[They were] very friendly and chatty and interested in learning about the fish,” the guide who escorted the couple through the aquarium told Who magazine. “They weren’t outwardly affectionate, but you could tell they were close to one another.”

‘Wild’ and get out!

Nick Cannon admits that he is a bad boyfriend.

“Wild ’N Out” star doesn’t deny that he cheated on his girlfriend, actress Christina Milian (the couple met while filming “Love Don’t Cost a Thing”), which is why she finally dumped him.

“I wasn’t hiding nothin’. When she did ask, ‘Were you hanging out with women?’ I was like, ‘Yeah.’ It wasn’t like, ‘You caught me!’ It was like, ‘I thought you knew,’” Cannon told Complex magazine. “I think she probably expected more from me than I was willing to give her, than I ever said I was going to give her. In the media, we were always saying we were friends, but technically we were probably more than that, and I took advantage of the situation more than I should have.”

So there you go, ladies. He’s a cheater, but he’s honest about it.
