Richard Simmons is denying reports that he’s transitioning into a woman.

The fitness guru’s rep Tom Estey told Us Weekly that a National Enquirer cover story (with fairly compelling photos and a headline stating “the real reason he disappeared for 934 days”) claiming the 67-year-old is using the name Fiona and planning for breast implant surgery is “not true,” and that Simmons simply “has decided to live quietly the last few years.”

That solitude was interrupted last week when the formerly exuberant “Sweatin’ to the Oldies” star was hospitalized in Los Angeles after apparently displaying “bizarre” behavior, Us and TMZ report. Released after two days, Simmons issued a statement saying he was dehydrated and feeling better.

In March, he also made headlines after a report by the New York Daily News said his friends were concerned that he was being held hostage by his housekeeper, Teresa Reveles, at his Hollywood Hills home. He publicly stated he was not.

FYI, TMZ snapped a photo of Simmons with a beard, in the back of a vehicle after leaving Cedars Sinai Medical Center earlier this week.

Snoop Dogg won’t be getting any major league deals anytime soon, judging by his opening pitch at Wednesday afternoon’s San Diego Padres vs. Atlanta Braves game.

The hip-hop star’s pitch in San Diego went “woefully wide” and almost took out a cameraman and spectators, USA Today reported, while the Padres’ announcer more kindly said, “It leaked.”

Snoop, however, won’t go down in history with the worst all-time bad first pitch. The honor goes to 50 Cent, whose inexplicable (and remarkable) throw to the left at a New York Mets game in 2014 has 1.5 million views on YouTube.
