Scoop: JoJo meet 26 guys, gets going on ‘The Bachelorette’

Things are under way for JoJo Fletcher, ABC’s “The Bachelorette” for 2016.

Although the season’s first episode just aired Monday night, online observers (fanatics?) already are predicting which guys the bachelorette (who got dumped by last season’s bachelor Ben Higgins, who told her he loved Lauren Bushnell more) will go for.

The obvious front-runner is Jordan Rodgers, younger brother of Green Bay Packers star quarterback Aaron Rodgers.

Gossip sites also are predicting that Luke Pell and Robby Hayes will be among the final few of the 26 she met on Monday who get hometown dates and to meet Fletcher’s family.

Reality Steve’s list of the final seven also includes Christian Bishop, Evan Bass and Coley Knust — and San Francisco Bay Area local Grant Kemp. a 27-year-old firefighter and model with “lots” of tattoos all over his upper body.

Kemp’s LinkedIn page lists him as a firefighter-paramedic with the Hayward Fire Department since March 2014, and in his interview on ABC’s website he describes himself as a “party starter” if the situation calls for it, and “laid-back” if not.

He says his three best attributes are “being thoughtful, good at making people smile, and making people feel appreciated” and his favorite movies are “Home Alone,” “The Bourne Identity” and “Ninja Turtles (the original one).”

Hmmm, guess we won’t be seeing him at the San Francisco Documentary Film Festival coming up next month.

On the other hand, he wins a few points with this description of a bad date: “Getting lunch with a girl and listening to her talk about Harry Potter for 20 minutes.”

HEAD ON!

The huge “Venus” head has been hoisted on what is now The City’s tallest statue, in Trinity Place at Eighth and Market streets.

The installation on the 92-foot, gleaming stainless steel structure — in what will be a “public piazza” of the mid-Market apartment complex — happened Monday morning, and local news cameras captured the dramatic job.

The artwork is part of the collection of the colorful developer and landlord Angelo Sangiacomo, who died in December last year at age 91 and was known for the residential real estate empire he built in San Francisco.

According to news reports, Sangiacomo’s wife Yvonne and daughter Mia, co-owner of Trinity Place, got emotional while watching the action unfold.
