All’s well with Janet Jackson, her billionaire husband Wissam Al Mana and their baby.

The 50-year-old pop star (and first-time mom) gave birth to a boy, named Eissa Al Mana, her publicist told People in a statement that said: “Janet had a stress free healthy delivery and is resting comfortably.”

The famously reclusive singer mostly stayed out of the spotlight during her pregnancy, except for a message on Twitter in November for fans: “Hey you guys… It’s been awhile… but I’m still listening.. I feel your love and prayers.. Thank you.. and I’m doing well.”

In September, she was spotted in public shopping for baby furniture in London, and before that in April, she canceled dates on her concert tour, announcing plans to start a family.

She joins the club of celebrity moms over 40 that includes Kelly Preston, Beverly D’Angelo, Geena Davis, Susan Sarandon, Halle Berry and Nancy Grace.

For those pondering the seemingly perplexing biology, fertility doctors speculate she froze her eggs at an earlier age or that she used an egg donor.

The family certainly has resources. In 2012, she wed Al Mana, 42, whose family business in Qatar includes over 50 companies, many luxury brands, in a secret ceremony after rumors of a $20 million wedding surfaced.

Jackson was previously married to musician James DeBarge and director Rene Elizonda Jr. and in a seven-year relationship with hip hop artist Jermaine Dupri.
