Scoop! How Lowe can you go, Hilary?

Hilary Swank is finally fessin’ up to what ended her seemingly happy marriage to Chad Lowe: His secret substance-abuse problem.

While Swank never names Lowe’s substance of choice and claims that he’s been sober for years now, she says it was one of the contributing factors to the couple’s breakup after eight years of marriage.

“When I found out, it was such a shock because I never thought he’d keep something from me,” the 31-year-old actress told Vanity Fair. “And yet, on another level, it was a confirmation of something I was feeling that was keeping us from being completely solid.”

The double Oscar winner, who famously forgot to thank her husband when she won her first Best Actress statue for “Boys Don’t Cry,” denies that her successful movie career, while Lowe toils away in cheesy TV movies, had anything to do with the split.

“Chad is very supportive of my career,” she said in the interview. “He is, I think, genuinely happy for my success. I think that any frustration for him stemmed from the lack of opportunities in his own career.”

Not surprisingly, Lowe declined to comment on Swank’s statements. He’s probably still steamed she didn’t thank him.

Stick to the issues, Ashley

Speaking of problems, Ashley Judd says she had to check herself into rehab in February to tackle her issues, including co-dependent relationships, isolation and depression.

“I needed help. I was in so much pain,” Judd told Glamour

magazine.

The 38-year-old actress worked out her problems, which she says stemmed from a “chaotic” and “dysfunctional” childhood, in a 47-day program in a Texas treatment center; the same place her sister, country singer Wynonna, stayed to deal with food addiction. In fact, the Shades of Hope Treatment Center counselors approached Ashley about admitting herself when she was visiting her sister.

“They said, ‘No one ever does an intervention on people like you. You look too good. You’re too smart and together. But you [and Wynonna] come from the same family, so you come from the same wound,’” Judd said. “No one had validated my pain before.”

Game, set, match

Speaking of validating pain, David Hasselhoff got the bums’ rush at Wimbledon.

Apparently, a drunken Hasselhoff tried to crash the players’ bar, but was denied access.

A spy told The Daily Mirror that The Hoff tried to play the “but I’m famous” card and started yelling, “All I want is a drink? Do you know who I am?”

Then security was ordered to keep the “Baywatch” star out of the bars and restaurants.

“He was absolutely steaming and being very abusive,” a witness said. “He was ejected from the ground and told not to bother coming back.”

Kidurban wedding paraphernalia for sale

Are you obsessed with Kidurban? Then head over to eBay, because mementos from Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban’s wedding are on the popular online auction site.

According to Life & Style Extra, some of the items put up for bid by an anonymous wedding guest include a menu, a ceremony booklet, an engraved Tiffany clock that says, “A Moment in Time, 25th June 2006, Nicole and Keith,” and even a piece of the wedding cake.

So, who’s the anonymous seller? Could it be one of the many stars who attended last month’s Sydney wedding such as Russell Crowe, Hugh Jackman, Renee Zellweger and Naomi Watts? Hmmm, we suspect Tom Cruise is behind this, as some sort of revenge for getting remarried first.
