Scoop: A few more words about Blake Lively’s bountiful bum

So where you do stand on the Blake Lively booty brouhaha?

Some have called out the A-list actress for being racially insensitive for her Instagram post showing her wearing a form-fitting, golden Versace gown at the Cannes Film Festival, from the front and back, with a caption reading: “L.A. face with an Oakland booty.”

Her rear indeed is ample in the photo.

There’s truth in the comments blasting a white woman of privilege for using women of color’s bodies as “a punchline and commodity.” One remark compared Lively to Gwyneth Paltrow and her offensive GOOP enterprise, and another astutely commented that these days, Los Angeles’ demographics aren’t quite as white as Blakely insinuates.

Still, more folks are coming to Mrs. Ryan Reynolds’ defense, chiding the online haters for not getting the reference to lyrics from Sir Mix-a-Lot’s 1992 hit “Baby Got Back.”

E! Online reports that other celebrities, including Khloe Kardashian and Katy Perry, have quoted the same Sir Mix-a-Lot line in similar posts; Jonathan Lipnicki, who played the little kid in the movie “Jerry Maguire,” also referenced the song — to no backlash.

Scoop dares to query: Hasn’t anybody noticed that the basis of the $10 billion hip-hop industry is insensitivity?

ROBIN WRIGHT ON EQUAL PAY

Robin Wright told a New York audience that she negotiated like her calculating “House of Cards” character to earn the same pay as her co-star Kevin Spacey.

Speaking at a Rockefeller Foundation event in New York, the actress said she threatened to divulge the disparity, the Huffington Post reports.

Learning that the show’s conniving husband-and-wife characters were equally popular with viewers, Wright said the told executives, “You better pay me or I’m going to go public.” They did.

The Hollywood Reporter reports that Spacey earned $9 million for the third season of “House of Cards” while Wright, according to Forbes, received around $5.5 million that same year — even though Wright’s character had a much larger part in the foreground of season four.

Wright joins Patricia Arquette, Jennifer Lawrence, Gillian Anderson, Amanda Seyfried, Lena Dunham, Charlize Theron and Tracee Ellis Ross among the group of actresses addressing inequality in Hollywood.
