You thought Miss Daisy was nasty

Here’s why you don’t give rides to strangers.

A 25-year-old man made a purchase at a smoke shop at Brussels and Dwight streets Saturday around 2:30 p.m. As he left the shop, two men in their 20s asked him for a ride – and he agreed, police said.

Bad move. At one point, one of the hooligans in the backseat pulled out a gun and robbed the driver, police said.

The worst part? The thugs waited until the driver got them to their destination before pulling off the heist, police said.

They fled the victim’s car on foot and remain on the lam, cops said.
