Where the Dems are spending today: Unlikely targets

The DCCC’s most notable ad buys, on the other hand, go to a handful of districts which, with a few exceptions, probably no one would have expected a month ago:

  • $110,000 against Tim Burns in PA-12
  • $106,000 against Scott Bruun in OR-5
  • $132,000 against Jon Barela in NM-1
  • $113,000 against Randy Demmer in MN-1
  • $100,000 against David McKinley in WV-1
  • $66,000 against Bill Johnson in OH-6
  • $32,000 against Ruth McClung in AZ-7
