They say you cannot judge a book by its cover. But what about judging a political candidate by a book?
The Friends of the San Francisco Public Library asked nine of the candidates for San Francisco mayor what book was on their nightstand.
While the only book title that leapt off the list was Phil Ting reading “Llama, llama red pajama,” the burning question left is what the two major candidates who are not listed as reading.
A note in the article states that Michela Alioto-Pier and Mayor Ed Lee were unable to participate in the survey.
