Hardly Strictly Bluegrass organizers plan to stream online a memorial service for the free summer festival’s creator on the event’s web site Wednesday.

A service will be held at 1 p.m. at Congregation Emanu-El for Warren Hellman, who died Sunday at age 77.

A live stream of the service will also begin at 1 p.m., available at www.hardlystrictlybluegrass.com.

“The temple won’t be able to accommodate everyone, so we thought this would be a good way for folks to be part of it as well,” said Tracey Buck, a festival spokeswoman.

In addition to Wednesday’s service, a remembrance ceremony will be held in Golden Gate Park within the next few weeks, Buck said. A date has not yet been set.
