The Dark Room

WHAT: A quintessential S.F. theater house with a parking-space sized stage

Despite low ceilings, a parking-space sized stage, and bathroom access cut off during shows, the sheer amount of talent on that stage is only surpassed by their amount of heart.

WHAT: One of SoMa’s few green spaces: basketball court, community garden, playgrounds

Once a paved asphalt slab, this little hideaway filled with native California plants sports grassy knolls, a basketball court, a community garden, two sets of kids’ playgrounds, picnic tables, an athletic field, and best of all, it’s dog friendly!

Kamal Judeh  runs this deli, and besides the selection of tasty breakfasts and lunches, he will set your day off right. Jokes, bagels and coffee kept me coming through every morning.
