The Dark Room

WHAT: A quintessential S.F. theater house with a parking-space sized stage

Despite low ceilings, a parking-space sized stage, and bathroom access cut off during shows, the sheer amount of talent on that stage is only surpassed by their amount of heart.

WHAT: One of SoMa’s few green spaces: basketball court, community garden, playgrounds
Once a paved asphalt slab, this little hideaway filled with native California plants sports grassy knolls, a basketball court, a community garden, two sets of kids’ playgrounds, picnic tables, an athletic field, and best of all, it’s dog friendly!
