Update: Baby girl in back seat of car stolen in Morgan Hill found safe 

A 1-month-old girl who was buckled into a baby seat in the back of a car that was stolen Tuesday afternoon from a church parking lot in Morgan Hill has been found.

The California Highway Patrol issued an Amber Alert at about 3 p.m. for the car, a white Infiniti Q45 that was taken about an hour earlier from Saint Catherine's Church, 17400 Peak Ave., in Morgan Hill, police said.

The Infiniti's license plate number is 5XJW448. The keys were in the car when it was stolen.

The baby was found this afternoon, but police were not immediately able to provide details.

The baby girl has black hair and brown eyes, and was wearing a "onesie" with a floral design, police said.
